Class Announcements:Round Robin Writing Exercise (We might try this in class): http://www.educationworld.com/a_lesson/02/lp255-04.shtml
NaNoWriMo I love this competition between a writer and himself (huh...isn't that a type of conflict?). If you've never heard of NaNoWriMo, why not check it out if you're serious about writing? In a nutshell, you dedicate the month of November to getting your story OUT of your head and uploaded on your NaNoWriMo account (it's encrypted, so don't worry). As a young writer, you get to choose your own word count (adults have a minimum of 50,000 words). Intrigued? Go to http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/ Don't know what to read next? Check out this site for teen reviewed book suggestions. http://www.epicreads.com/ Curious about world flags? Check out this site: http://www.photius.com/flags/alphabetic_list.html |
